on sat. afternoon I put my 3 Guinea pigs out in 2 separate cage tops (2 in one and 1 in the other). after changing my Guinea pigs cages I lifted up the top to put Bella back into her regular cage but she slipped through my hands and she’s ran out the other side which she escaped and she’s somewhere in my backyard, what can I do?
Thanks,
Lisa

Put a box or hidey out and to be honest, don't stop searching. It's a very dangerous world out there for a piggy and I'd hate to say it but Saturday is quite a while ago now so I wouldnt count on her health. Domesticated prey animals, particular ones which typically live indoors, don't stand much of a.chance fending for themselves :(

we have 2 cage tops set out, a squirrel 🐿 trapper and we’ve set her cage outside. my dad put our my other Guinea pigs cage hoping that Bella will hear them talking/whistle and that she’ll come back. where do you live?

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Could you maybe rustle some food bags? I don't know how far she's gotten and if she would be able to hear that. I also don't know how familiar she is with human sounds but if she isn't, it would probably be best not to be too loud or you might scare her more. If she is familiar with human sounds, maybe you could try saying things that you normally would to get her excited and maybe she'll hear it? I'm not sure, I'm sorry! Keep looking! Check under bushes and under anything that you think you would hide under if you were a guinea pig.

we’ve been doing that. she’s familiar with my voice so I’ve been outside calling her name.

Has there been any sighting of her since Saturday?
sometime on sat. my nextdoor neighbors let me know that their kitten 🐱 had spotted something that had popped out of my Pottery shed and was going to send her underneath the shed to catch her but I said no bc I didn’t want their kitten 🐱 to hurt my Guinea pig. besides that there haven’t been any other sightings of her, :-(

Sorry to hear this.. your piggy might not have survived after being outside for so long 😢 Saturday until Tuesday is a long time to fend off any predator .. but there might still be a chance if they have found a good hidey hole...

She’s likely to be hiding under a shed, good luck, I do hope you find her, don’t give up x

I've heard of finding videos of wheeking guinea pigs and playing them near where you think they might be hiding as a way to encourage them to come out, or at least answer so you have a better idea of what's going on. Fingers crosse for you.
