Missing Him So Much

HUGS!

It is always very tough when you lose a piggy, especially one that you have been looking after round the clock in the previous days and weeks because it leaves you literally at lose ends and there is this huge void in your life where Jack has been. You have cared so much for Jack and done your best for him; I am very sorry that you had to set him in the path to the Rainbow Bridge.

Jack was a lovely boy with a cheeky piggy smile!

If you find that you struggle, start a diary about your feelings but also record all your snippets of memory as they come to your mind. Over time you will hopefully find that there is more of him still with you than you expect. By writing it down, it cannot be taken away from you.

If you really struggle to sleep and to function in your daily life in the longer term, please make use of one the listed services (some are free) to listen to you and to help you cope. It has helped forum members. SupportLine - Problems: Pet Bereavement: Advice, support and information

So sorry hun, it can hit very hard, can't it? You've very much been on an emotional roller-coaster and it's ended so sadly.

If it helps you, please feel free to post a tribute to him in the Rainbow Pets section. Sometimes doing so can help. it won't take the pain away but sometimes it really can help us to come to terms with the loss.

All piggies are special, and out of the ones I have lost I can think of something special about each and every one, and yet some hurt more than others when they pass. I think sometimes it's the circumstances that really get to us as well as the fact that we genuinely miss their ways.

You, like many of us, take them on to give them good life. Sometimes their time with us is long, and sometimes short, but the fact that you have shown him a nice home, comfort, love and companionship means that you have brought a sparkle to his life, as he did for you. I hope you can take comfort in the good times.

So sorry its always hard to accept the loss of a beloved pet but even though it hard to accept now it will eventually get easier to remember him and the good times. RIP little Jack.

((HUGS.)) It is so hard to lose an animal that has been such a part of our life. I think everyone here understands. I know I do. Thinking of you!
