missing my Bella

Bella sadly left us in April and have only recently been able to look at pictures of her. She was such a special guineapig and is missed so much. She was full of character and made us laugh till we cried at times. My son would pretend she was a beast invading a town, and the army had come to get her. She acted out her role very well, running off with the men, popcorning over fences and pooping everywhere. Gone but never forgotton x

poor you and she is lovely looking. I still think about my first ever piggy who we got back in August 2007 and he only lived for about two months, so it's sad losing any piggy.xxxxxxxxx
 
So sorry about Bella - she looks like a real character!

At least you have so many lovely memories of her; even if it takes time for them to become a comfort instead of a hurt.

It took me a long time to get over the loss of my Minx, so I do understand what you are going through!

RIP special girl - you were much loved and are sadly missed!
 
I am so sorry about you loosing your bella, she looks an absolute sweetheart...

my best wishes on getting over the pain... I hope you feel slightly less sad soon
 
thanks for all your kind words. it's been three months since she passed, and its only now i can look at the pics with a smile instead of tears.
I'm beginning to feel I'm ready to take on a couple of girlies again. I needed to take time as i didnt want to be making any comparisions. that wouldnt be fair as every guinea pig is different, and equally as lovable.
 
Aww she was gorgeous and I love how your son is playing with her that is so sweet!

I know how you feel, Cuzzy died in November 2008 and even now it is still hard. He was a special guy! (((hugs))) x
 
Loss

I've not yet lost a piggy, as I've just recently joined the Mad World of Guinea Pig Love! But sadly I have lost many pets and know how badly it can stick with you and for now long. We lost my ShihTzu Prince several years ago and my daughter still cries when she see's his toy (I've recently gotten rid of it)
Guinea pigs sure do know how to wrap themselves tightly around your heart...I've only had mine a week and a half and I'm totally smitten!

You are absolutely right; I had a real fight on my conscience when I came across a girl that was the splitting image of my Minx just weeks after her death on the rehome website... In the end I decided against her - she would have always come second to Minx!

I wish you the best with finding a couple that seem to be made with you in mind; I'm sure they'll be waiting somewhere!
 
What a lovely looking piggie she was and a very sweet connection with your son by the looks of it :) Very sorry you lost her, it's very hard to post about them without getting upset x
 
So sorry to hear about Bella. When my piggie Farquhar died in January I didnt tell anyone for a couple of weeks. I was so upset and like you found it hard to look at photos of her. Bella obviously had a very special place in all your families hearts and I know how much you are all missing her. Sending hugs to you and your family..
