tomorrow we go away for a week so our Guinea pigs have gone to a boarding place. I am missing them so much and hoping they settle into their temporary hutch. I keep thinking of things that I could have passed on to them but i know I have to trust that they know what they are doing!

Will the lady think it's weird if I ring in a couple of day to see how they are doing do you think?

I would totally ring in a few days to check up on them! I'd be ringing every 5 minutes if it was me lol XD I bet it's really quiet without them! Enjoy your holiday though, try not to worry. i'm sure they will enjoy their holiday :)
 
I agree with above. If this boarding place is worth it's salt - they won't mind you ringing. The lady I board mine with regularly texts me updates . I know of one boarding place which has webcams .
 
Yep - when I look after my sisters dog for her I have to put the phone to his ear so she can talk to him.
 
I hate that night when the boys have gone to boarding but we don't leave til the next day... It's just too quiet.

I'm sure you're boarding lady won't mind if you ring to see how they are doing... Mine texts me and lets me ring or text if I need to. I know they are always sin the best of hands with her though, they've been going there for years. :) I found her on here!
 
I would totally call... I was on vacation in early September and my friend who pig-sat for me sent me daily updates by e-mail so I wouldn't worry about them!
