My lovely girl had to go to the vet to be pts. She was laying on her side and her breathing was all bubbly. I took the whole herd, Cufflinks, Rosie and Cherry Blossom so thst they could say goodbye.

I will miss her. She was the chief whistler.

She is on the right. Her sister (Jingle) is the long haired orange guinea pig. Cufflinks is front left. Rosie is smooth haired and Rosie's sister, Cherry Blossom is under the stool.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the last act of love we can give them. Sleep well beautiful and enjoy the Rainbow Bridge.

I remember before I had this latest batch of guinea pigs my Mother suggested 'why dont you get some guinea pigs darling, you used to have them when you were little and dont have any now'.

What a great idea I thought. On the morning dog walk I visualised a beautiful reddish cream guinea pig with a white blaze. Amazingly when I looked on a rescue website 2 days later there was my visualised sweetie with her long haired orange coated sister.

They were such lovely girls. Both loathed being held but were happy to take food from my hand.

Rosie and Cherry Blossom will be a great comfort to me as will the lovely Cufflinks. He is the peace keeper of the herd.
 
I'm so sorry for your loss, we lost a piggy this weekend too, Mistletoe can meet our Jezzy floof over the rainbow bridge... sleep tight Mistletoe and hugs to your Mummy and the friends you leave behind x

She was a good age, a tribute to your love and care.

The 3 remaining darlings gave gentle little 'its supper time' wheeks today. Much softer than Mistletoe's vigerous whistles with her sides going in and out like bellows and her lips forming an 'o' shape!
