Sadly it didn't work out with the boars I was getting...but we still had a cage and run ready so went ahead and got more piggys. I heard about three sows lookig for a home and they all came home wth me yesterday. They have settled in really well, we have a 5ft hutch with a c+c run attached for them to play in. They are really friendly grls, they have all been out for cuddles and are really relaxed. Misty is 7 yrs and peaches and bella are 2 and a half. bit nervous about handling misty as she's so much older but she is very sweet, just likes to sit quietly in our laps and watch her girls race round. I know, Misty is a lovely old lady and it's nice to have such a calm piggy to cuddle. She is in perfect health too, she has a lump on her neck that has been there for the past 3 years so it dosen't seem to be a problem for her. Otherwise, she is a good weight, perfect teeth etc. I take my pigs to april lodge retremet centre actually for their check ups. It's a centre just for "bed blockers", piggys that can't be adopted from april lodge rescue because they're too old and have medical problems. sooo may lovely elderly guineas, i coud take them all home.
