How often do you treat for mites and what is the best stuff to use?

Mine go to the vets (they go to my vets house) every 3 months for nail trims health checks etc, and she gives them ivermectin orally. x
I only treat when I suspect mites; which has been about once a year on average over the last few years.
You can treat via spot-on (like xeno 450 for adult piggies); orally or by injection at the vets. Stay off the pet shop spot-ons; they are usually too low dosed to be of any use.
