the bob martins stuff does have a very bad rep.

Is Xeno 360 the right name for the guinea pig product?

I think it is Xeno 50 for mini piggies and Xeno 450 for adults

Shampoo is the best way to deal with lice, and the best shampoo is the lice'n'easy from gorgeous guineas.

Xeno 450 (or 50 for small piggies) is ivermectin and mainly used for mites.

It is not unusual that a piggy comes down with some kind of parasites after a stressful time.

My own tribe has had a bout of mites after Fflur died.

I have to agree that it sounds like lice; they tend to look like tiny grains of rice, usually white, creamy, brown or black in colour. As far as I know, they're the only parasite easily visible to the naked eye.

There is a spot-on topical treatment a bit like Xeno that is often used in the USA for treating lice. I will have to find out if it is available here, I suspect it is but may well be prescription only. rolleyes
