Ok so a few days ago I heard bumble pig leave out a scream i checked her over held her for a min she was ok...when i put her back in i sat at their cage and watched for a few and I saw penelopig bit bumble pig on the right side of her face and bumble pig screamed....
I wasnt very happy i comforted her and put some cream on her face where she was now missing some hair to comfort the skin...
anyway yesterday it was starting to look better until i looked at sweetie pig and she was missing a small bit of hair on her back...
I couldnt believe it i had been in the room most of the time...how hadnt i seen any of this
anyway last night penelopig was rumbleing and swaying side to side then chasing bumble pig and sweetie pig..everytime i got up and went over she stopped and it stopped for a while until she would do it again..
It got late so i turned off the lights and they went to sleep...
until today I picked them up and bumble pigs face is worse its like shes missing hair and is like a tiny scab bit
and the same with sweetie pig now iv looked it up and it looks like mites but none of the signs match they are not really itching and not drinking any more then ever before I am going in first thing in the morning to get Ivermectic for them iv heard its the only thing to get rid of them
any ideas is this the doing of penelopig or is it mites
Penelopig hasnt any missing hair or anything...and if its mites dont it usually go to a v on a guinea pigs back where as sweetie pigs back is just a circle of missing hair and a little scab..
Help me please do i remove penelopig or what do i do
