Mites Question

Hi, my little pig Madge has mites - she had a bath yesterday and is now indoors whilst i treat her with xeno however this morning when i came down stairs she greeted me with a huge sore patch on her lower back that wasnt there last night. It is the size of a 10p and red raw, what can i use on it to prevent it itching and her scratching? I have read that i can use aloe vera gel but on another website it says that it can cause even more itching? Can anyone help? Thanks :{
