I found some very small, white mites, I presume, on the crest of my guinea pig's head. They're no bigger than the head of a pin, very small. Any idea what they are and what prescription is best to treat them? Bare in mind I have four piggies, so they're all going to need treating.

Your best bet is to have them vet checked to ensure you are treating for the right thing.
Other than a new addition arriving with a fungal issue, I don't have any experience of mites etc so will tag @helen105281 who is more knowledgable on the subject!

Hope your little ones are sorted soon x

I only really have experience of mange mites which it doesn't sound like these are as mange mites are under the skin and cannot be seen. As Adelle has said, best to get a vet to diagnose so you know what you are treating. They will likely need a few rounds of Ivermectin and baths in an anti-parasite shampoo. Have you changed your hay at all recently?
