Hello everyone.

I had William out (attempting to cut his nails ha!) and was giving him a 'check over' to make sure everything was okay and I discovered a couple of scabby bits on his rump area.

I suspect mites - I have noticed him biting and scratching himself. He hasn't had any bald spots, which is probably why it took me so long to notice.

I checked over his (former) roommate (they now live in 2 2x3's side by side) and he seems okay. Before I separated them, Angus (former roommate) had been barbering William, pulling chunks of hair out of his rump area, so I am unsure if he's bitten him and I've not noticed and that's what the scabs are from, there was never any blood though. William has some dandruff also, which leads me to suspect mites. His former roommate also has dandruff and scratched sometimes, but not as much as William.

They both seem okay in themselves and are both eating normally, drinking normally, pooping normally, peeing normally, etc.

I have a vet appointment on Monday, but just wanted you guys opinions in the meantime!
