My daughter has s long haired GP
We have just bathed him and noticed very tiny black specks near his ears and back. I have put spot on treatment on but unsure if they are any good or will he need to be treated at the vets?

What spot on treatment have you used? They're usually either useless or can be harmful if from pet shops.

It could just be dirt, have you noticed any weight loss or pain/itching?

sorry. No I can’t post a pic. He seems a lot better today. I will clean his ears again and see how he gets on.
