Is the spot on vet prescribed? Be careful about shop bought ones as they’re not strong enough.

after you treat the mights have a complete cleanup of your cage - including washing the toys and hidies and even rinse the food bowl. also, take out all the old hay and wash fleece or change bedding. That might be why they are coming back.
I know mights are very frustrating:hb:
Hope your piggies get better.

Spot on is xeno vet prescribed, need to get more sometime. And yus i clean the whole cage before i bath them and disinfect everytjing, also have insectisidal spray that is by small pet select that i use on the pigs butts (its completely pet safe) and spray around the cage and let it dry before i put them in

Whats the purpose of the spray? Was it the vet who recommended it?

The spray is for the mites, can be used on the guineapig and in the cage, thats what it says on small pet select, says it totally safe for them, i usually just spray it about the hutch when i clean it just incase theres mites left on the base of the cage or on the sides, then i let it dry and put bedding in,

On another note that spot on i used which i had left over seemed to help especially since i applied it after a bath so most mites are gone for now, i only had enough for nova, but she had mites worst than the others and bathing got most mites off the others, numbers are down atleast! Happy me and happy piggies
