My sister brought home a bunny.... we checked her over/kept her seperate for a while an she seemed heathly other then a few itches which we figured were fleas since my sister cat has them..... any way I let the bunny run with my pigs on floor time, then my pigs started scrating..... the other day when I bathed them and trated for fleas I noticed I didn't see anyfleas! Then it clued in that they have mites! How to do rid of mites?! I read a few places to give them ivmection (sp?) I went to 4 differnt stores and couldn't find it! I found the stuff for horses but a little amount does 100lbs!


How do you treat. Them!?
 
I use xeno450 spot on, it is ivermectin and it works. I get mine from local pharmacist, but you can also buy it from the vet.
 
Thanks, any one know of any other products? I can't get any of those in canada...and its gonna take a long time to ship it.... this point I will try almost anything... it has got so bad this week I can't stand looking/being with them because there in so much pain, and I feel terrable.
