Yep, it was a big old bag, but it's just the same as alfalfa King timothy which is £9Was it![]()
I did not even know they sold that!I use a mix at times just incase I cant get a hold of a particular type. I use meadow hay from B&M and the Dandelion & Marigold from there too... also hay from the Range & Burgess....
I've seen a bag of obxow hay in my local horse feed and small furrry feed store, and it was £32. Obv its imported, but come onnn
I use the same aswell, apart from burgess, I find them too expensive for the amount. But that's in the shops.I did not even know they sold that!
I sometimes pick up oxbow from the vets, off the shelf. It's the best price I can't find it in a shop kind of thingYep it is incredibly expensive for oxbow and my boys go crazy for it....they might not be happy when their supply comes to an end but they are going to have to get over it! Sadly it is the only good quality Timothy I can get locally so I was pleased to find haybox!
I use Harrington’s. They really like it, but it is quite pricey. However, you get a lot in the bag. I buy it from amazonAm I right in thinking oxbow have the best pellets?
Try amazon lol! You can get a pick of 3 (5kg per bag) for £11I use the same aswell, apart from burgess, I find them too expensive for the amount. But that's in the shops.
Sorry 1kgTry amazon lol! You can get a pick of 3 (5kg per bag) for £11
I found Harringtons to be amazingly cheap. The nuggets I buy are 7 - 9 pound a bag. But last ages. Ends up working out pence per dayI use Harrington’s. They really like it, but it is quite pricey. However, you get a lot in the bag. I buy it from amazon
For a 10kg bag it costs around £15 but it will last ages!I found Harringtons to be amazingly cheap. The nuggets I buy are 7 - 9 pound a bag. But last ages. Ends up working out pence per day
Please bear in mind that pellets have a shelf life once opened as the nutrients deteriorateFor a 10kg bag it costs around £15 but it will last ages!
I buy the Harrington’s pellets from amazon as I have prime lol so it’s a little cheaper. Also, I hope they like the burgess Timothy hay I bought. They love the meadow hayI buy from timothy hay and like them. There’s a shop a few mins drive away that sells pet supplies including hay, but it’s a little expensive and doesn’t last as long.
I also get the Harrington’s from amazon. I’m prime so it’s (only slightly) cheaper than buying in Asda. And the nearest Asda is quite a way away, so I’d be spending more than the difference on the petrol.
As for the burgess with marigold. I ran out once and had to buy in an emergency. The piggies refused to eat it!so I had to go to the shop round the corner.
My piggies love them. The bows are always empty before I go to bedI use science selective grain free, but I am noticing my pigs are not finishing them. I may switch back to Harringtons, gradually
