I've just been doing my big clean out and come across a bag of Harrington pellets I'd bought for my piggies before I'd checked what food they were on. Of course when I discovered they were on Burgess and always had been I decided that it'd be best just to keep them on it.

So now I'm left with this bag of pellets just taking up space and going to waste so I'm wondering if it'd be ok to mix in a little bit with their Burgess? Could this cause any health problems at all? And if it did work out would I probably have to keep it going after the bag's finished or could I just do it until the current bag is finished up and then go back to just the Burgess?

I don't mind either way what I do, just as long as it's what is best for the piggies. I just thought I'd ask if there was a way to use up these pellets as I don't know anyone who uses them that I could give them to.

Thanks

It's ok to mix them, if they don't like them they will leave them.. but if they're anything like our boys they won't last long.. ;)

I agree, it's fine to mix them and then to go back to the burgess as pellets should only be a small percentage of their diet anyway.
