Zelsi
New Born Pup
After some scuffles and a lot of thinking I felt that the boys needed more space - and was I right! While Monty seems indifferent to the extra space, Simba is wild. He loves running around squeaking, doing zoomies and popcorning. He seems to have claimed the loft as well!
Some pictures of their old vs their new cage (and a video!)
Old Cage
Just reaching the minimum size for 2 pigs. It did have a second level as well, and had more interesting things in it, but there was a lot of arguing and aggression so it was made very bland (2 of everything, 2 way hidies) to fix that. Unfortunately while things improved I felt that they really just wanted more room.
New Cage!
A 2x4 c&c cage with a 2x1.5 loft (we had to reduce it from 2x5 cage and 2x2 loft because it wouldn't fit the space we had, but it is still much bigger than the previous cage). You can tell Simba loves it, Monty seems indifferent... for now.
And lastly a video!
Monty pops out at around 52 seconds in and then remains hiding in the wooden arch way from 1:03 onwards. Also I'm aware at the start Simba is leaning over the edge - we always leave the lid down unless we are in the room watching them or playing with them.
