Monty the fearless - now climbing up the stairs!

My boisterous boar Monty is the most fearless piggy i've ever had!
Today I left him running around downstairs when I could hear the patter of his tiny feet on the wood flooring. Realising this sound was too loud for him to be downstairs I came out the bathroom to find Monty in the bedroom! Couldn't believe he made it up the stairs!
Then tonight he done it again but was caught halfway up and had a naughty look on his face!
He's so mischievous! Think i'm going to have come up with a guinea pig proof stair gate!
Has anyone else's piggies ever done this? :)

Oh yes. My Montgomery loves nothing better than bounding up the stairs. Check him out.. Maybe its something to do with piggies called Montgomery/Monty...

 
Lol What?! Thats awesome and just amazing, haha I expected to see it climb all slowly up the stairs haha.
 
My well named Minx used to do it for a while. She discovered it about 10 days before she was giving birth to surprise babies and picked it up again once she decided that she'd had enough of the nursing business. mallethead

We HAD to piggy proof our stairs as I couldn't just run upstairs all the time to bring her down again. You should have seen the look on the gasman's face! :))
 
My Freddie shoots up the stairs if he gets the chance! He can also jump up the sofa from the floor!

Haha brilliant! I'm going to have to try and film Monty to see how he does it as I haven't actually caught him in the act of jumping from one step to the next yet! He's only tiny really though so I can't imagine him bounding up like yours! He's only 6 months old and weighs 750g. He's recently lost his top front teeth, probably from running about crazily and crashing into something! mallethead
