Moon has passed over the bridge

We are sad to report that when we got up yesterday morning we found Moon lying on her favourite spot of fleece having passed in her sleep. We thought she was getting better from the latest bout of URI and was eating but having a second bout within 2 months of the first one must have been too much. We are gonna miss her cheeky forays into the kitchen for goodies and finding potatoes and other items that she tried after getting into the vedge.

Popcorn well and forage like a *** un over the bridge with Flower, Sunshine and Junior.

I always ask this question to people when they feel this way, what more could you have done?

You got vet treatment very quickly, from a vets you weren't familiar with on your holidays, you gave the med's and anything else she needed, you couldn't have done anymore. Life is so cruel sometimes.

I am so sorry that your little beauty has passed away. There is nothing that you have to blame yourself for; you did all the right things. Your feelings only prove what caring owners you are - they are perfectly normal. We all tend to feel that there should have been something more we could have done...

Awwww little moon- Run free little girl. I'm sure she will be up munchin grass on a caravn site with her sisters somewhere over the rainbow bridge x
 
I'm so sorry to hear that Moon has lost her fight.
Please don't blame yourself for her passing, you did all that you could. It's natural to feel that way, but don't believe for one minute that what you are thinking about yourself is true, you gave her the best life you could.

RIP Moon, run free beautiful girl, over the bridge with your friends and enjoy munching on the lush green grass.
 
So sorry to hear about Moon. What a gorgeous little piggie and such a character. Popcorn free at the bridge little one..x
 
We'll remember with fondness the image of Moon, when they were out around the living room, tootling towards the open kitchen door, being spotted and the shout "come back here you little %^**%*" and she would stop, look around and waggle her bum and carry on into the kitchen. The number of times shopping was placed on floor, forgotten about only to find later huge chunks taken out the centre of cucumbers.
