More Advice re: Stig please - Skin Problem -

I have just been up to feed Stig his veggies and he has scratched all his wounds open on his face - I was convinced this was getting better as it was scabbing over and crusty this afternoon. I am waiting for Chrissie's products to arrive but in the meantime do I just bathe his face in lukewarm water ?

Can someone help. He seems very listless today and quiet although he did have his morning veggies and some guinea nuts too. His poops are normal and he is now on vetbed completely for comfort. He just looks lost. Is there anything I am missing - do I just bathe. He had injection on Thursday when I rescued him from that awful woman.

Please can you advise me - I am getting to be so worried about him.

Awww bless :-\ Id put some cream on his face like vaseline or savlon :(

Helen took him when a woman was looking for a home for him,when shegot him he had mites and was ripping his skin open scratching.
he has been to the vets though
 
Just bathed his wounds again and dried and popped some Vaseline on it. He squealed - its just awful. Thought when it scabbed over I had got on the best side of it. He is eating so that's good - had some brocolli, cauli, cabbage and carrot. He isn't taking much water so left lots on the veggies.

People are just so cruel :tickedoff:- I can't bear to think what may have happened. I just hope he does get stronger - he is a sweet little thing.

Awwwww that is sooo cruel :-\ How can anyone leave the poor mite like that for so long :'( Hope he gets well 0:)
 
Either Calendula cream or Kamillisan would be better than vasaline. or Savlon.It might be better not to bath but to l keep the area dry.
 
OK thanks for all your help again. I will get some Kamillosan tomorrow morning then. I won't bathe it any further. Will keep you all updated.
