Please note shavings r temp , it was the only neutral scent...rugs n bedding are being washed but thought may help bond

Cutie! Looks like he is very relaxed in his new home already. Is he named Pip or Patch yet? Is Gus still enjoying his new piggy friend?

Well we kinda need help settling the name issue. I really like patch an hubs really likes pip....what do * think?
Gus has been a bit of a rumble piggy, has frightened his new friend a few times ....but I'm sure due to the sticky on boar bonding that it's a dominance thing and not fighting. Gus actually try's to groom him but he's still very flighty...in going to let them sort it out. We r going to town today to see if we can find some cnc grids ...as I have a design in mind with extra storage underneath but we"ll see . Thanks !

Myself, I think he's a Patch! Yes, rumblestrutting is not a worry. My boys are still at it after being together for 10 months already.

Well we've been all over Texas looking for cnc grids...no one has heard of them and upon seeing a picture say no we don't have anything like that. I'm not sure what to do about it as shelving alt would run EXTREMLY high just to have maybe two more feet of room . We just can't do it. Truthfully we **** shouldn't have brought our new piggy home . And we r **** gonna go with patch

Yay Patch! Had the same problem trying to find C & C here in OZ. In my many searches I did find this site for the USA if it helps you http://www.guineapigzone.com/c-and-c-cages-guinea-pigs/1-cac-cage-kits

Chooken leg! Great to see more photo's of Patch. Hope him and Gus continue to bond well

Well this morning got off to a bumpy start. we heard a ruckus and came over to investigate. Gus is definatly the dominate one..but he's kinda a little rough on the newbie patch. He dosent hurt him...but he charges at him alot...and patch being new, and scared of EVERYTHING...it makes him run and hide in the pigloo. So then gus goes to get in the pigloo and patch freaks out.
I'm sure they'll get it sorted but I wish gus would calm down some. I'm very thankful that gus is not biting him or fighting him...but this overkill on the dominance part is worrisome. Patch dosent do it back..so I'm almost positive he'll be fine in there as long as he dosent challenge who's top pig. But I have noticed gus's dominance bits have made patch revert back to hiding . He was coming over to the bars and gingerly taking food from my hand. Now that gus is being a turkey...he's too scared to come out of the pigloo much.
I know its all normal..but I just want "patch" to feel comfortable and not scared so much.

Maybe have two pigloo's so they can have one each :)
As long as he's not nipping Patch it sounds like it should sort itself out really soon!

Give Patch some little nose rubs and kisses from me xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Well both of them r in there and I also hung a towel from top of shelf so it acts as a hidy spot too....but Gus is determined to go investigate where patch is. I think he's just trying to be big pig n play whose boss...but so far he's freaked patch out. They r fine in the play pen...but once they go into the cage Gus goes a tad overboard ....hope it sorts soon. I did take patch out for a good snuggle and a break. I'll pass on the love :)
