more piggies

back in the summer, I took on three beautiful boy piggies, and I really enjoy them. I would like to add some more to the group or have a new herd started. If I got a group of girls in a seperate hutch, would it cause probs with my like guys? (i dont want to breed!)

or could I add more blokes to the existing ones (they have a 7ft hutch)

I think as you have three lovely boys I wouldn't upset the mix of adding more to the herd. I have 2 girls and 4 boys when I had the girls in the same room as the boys it did cause some minor problems between my two bonded boys but since I've removed them they are totally fine and the girls live in the living room now.

All pigs are different though and yours may be fine, you could have a herd of five pigs in a seven foot hutch!

I work for Pets corner, and we have two boys, Malteaser and Revel who have been with us for months. No one wants them as they have red eyes (but are quite dark red) they are stunning, and really friendly...l
 
Awww. I have three red eye pigs and none of my friends like them. I love them though :smitten: :smitten:
 
Twinkle and Eccles have ruby eyes, they do look black! Eye colour wouldn't put me off at all. Bless them.
 
I dont understand why they havent sold! only problem is, they wouldnt be able to go outside until the spring :(
