Junior Guinea Pig
So Freddie was having small tear shaped poop. Took him to the vet who checked his belly, teeth, temperature and weight. She said to keep an eye on him but she thought he was fine “he’s a very bright, happy little piggy”. I started by weighing him daily and his weight didn’t drop. I then started giving him daily cucumber in case he wasn’t drinking enough and eventually I got a course of fibreplex off an animal vet website and he had almost a weeks worth, twice a day. (I can’t do three times a day as I work full time and as it wasn’t prescribed I thought beat to take it slow). His poops went back to normal. We finished the fibreplex and now the small poops have started again! He is gaining weight, eating and drinking normally, popcorns for his hay every morning... I don’t get it! Should o get him scanned?
