Ree
Junior Guinea Pig
The little dude now has a skin problem as well as the difficulties he's had with his teeth
I mentioned to the vet a couple of weeks ago that there was bald spot on the top of his front leg but it was quickly dismissed as his teeth and weightloss were the priority at the time.
I wish I could get some photos of it on here for someone to possibly identify but my camaras playing up, I'll have to describe it instead. The baldness is spreading up and down his leg now and he has bumpy scaley skin on the surrounding hair that is still growing. Some of the bumps are dried blood and some are white skin, about the size of a match head, he also has a singular bigger blood bump between his shoulder blades too. They seem to hurt if touched and I've found some clumps of hair held together at the root by dried skin in his cage.
I've ordered some coconeem melt, manuka shampoo and Lice and easy from gorgeous guineas but I really don't know what I'm doing, I think it's fungal from what I've read but this is the first time any of my piggies have had a skin problem so any help would be great.
He's off to the vet again in a minute for his teeth so I'll mention it again but I don't want him pumped with even more medication if the shampoo and melts will do the trick.
What do you guys think?

Ps he's put on 100g over the last week so there is some good news!
