can more than 2 boars live happily together? I just wondered as I know of someone who has 15 boars living together and only had trouble with 1 being bullied so he lives quite happily on his own with full view of the others. Does anyone else have more than 2 together?

Yes you can have more then two boars live together. However, it is not natural, minds you never is having a pair of boars living together. Just out of interest and if you don't mind me asking, why are you asking? ::) O0

Sadly not. Mine only get on (with the odd squabbles) in the run

I meant as in answer to the final question about people having them in groups of more than 2.

Sadly not any more than 2 with mine :)

I had a group of three boars I got from when they were babies and they got on very well. (sadly one died) I got another one, and this totally disrupted them and they had to be separated. I would not advise to have more than two together, but I am no expert.

Wilsonand Angus fight sometimes :( Ive bathed them together and everything...

Yes it is possible! I knew a lady who used to keep groups of 5/6 boards together. She put tea tree oil on them all and then they smelt and same and seemed to get over the squabbles quite quickly.

That's just one experience though, it's different for different people and different boars!

I have 3 boars together but ... they're brothers and only 3 months old so I'm hoping, praying, keeping fingers crossed and everything else possible! that they will stay getting on well. I think they need plenty of space, no good in just your average size hutch, the more space the better and the more places to hide/guard the better.

Have heard on the forum loads of times that when you introduce another it can cause disruption so I'd only keep brothers together I think - if it's all peaceful then don't rock the boat!

I have had 2 seperate groups of 3 boars together with no problems, but 3 of these i adopted as a group of 3, out of an original 5, and the same place had litterally 50 or more boars that didn't fight but they had a lot of room. The other 3 were an adult and 2 babies put together, and they were great.
