This morning I'm pottering around when I suddenly hear sounds of a scuffle and what sounds like someone shrieking in terror. I gulp, grab a teatowel, and rush to the living room to discover...

Comet having a quick rearrange of everything before starting his zoomies circuit. And the unholy shrieking? That's Blitzen, still making the noise, as he popcorns all over the place. Dude *really* likes the sound of his own voice  save me!

Haha it's always the way! I've just introduced a new girl to my two so I'm on high alert as well. They're fine during the day then decide to popcorn and zoom at night. All I hear is the bedding going everywhere and have visions of bloody massacres playing in my mind. Little XD

It was the fastest I've moved in weeks, to be honest. He's a bloody menace, lol. I'm just waiting for the day one of the neighbours hears him and figures I'm torturing the poor lad.

You know the house just wouldn't feel right without the little terror shrieking the house down though lol. I too worry about what the neighbours think when Patchy starts her shrieking for her veggies and pellets at some ridiculous time in the morning but then they started watching movies and gaming (the neighbours not the piggies) and all you can hear is "doof doof doof doof" till midnight so now I don't care, shriek as loud as you want Patchy i'll just open the back door and the windows at 5 o'clock in the morning to cause maximum disruption to the neighbours while they are trying to sleep.

Lol
I thought something really bad is happened
Pigs just do it so they can wind their owners up
Sunny squeals at anything and everything
Including when I put the veg bowl in
Silly girl

I can't even go into the kitchen for a drink because as soon as I walk back into the living room, it starts. Clearly I should only be in the kitchen if I'm bringing them something back :mal:

@Lorcan you mean you don't take them back something every time you go in the kitchen? Shame on you!

I can't afford to be feeding them blueberries on a half hourly basis. Even *I* draw the line at that!

It doesn't have to be blueberries surely? Mine go crazy for them but grass would do that is free! Or. .....Weeds ..... I have a planter outside my back door full of dandelions for my pigs (well that's what I keep telling myself anyway!) I'll put some more seeds in it soon as another dandelion has appeared in my patio now has a nice load of seed heads.

yeah...I live in a first floor flat

Get a bucket fill it with earth and plant some dandelion seeds - Simples!

Yeah but like, don't you need something under the bucket for the water to drain into? I don't even have somewhere for that.

Do you not have a shower? When you're in there (!) you could place said bucket temporarily on a towel to catch the drips and not the towel you'd be using to dry yourself with! I only trying to help:coat:

Nope. Just a bathtub. Tubs are terrible to try and get soil out of too, lol.

It's not a huge deal. They're well fed anyway, and I know that. Just not sure how they got it into their heads that me leaving the kitchen = feeding time! Originally I thought it was the fridge door (that thing squeaks like crazy, I really need to fix that) but nope. Just walk in, walk out, same problem lol.

Same with me when I open my patio door my pigs think VEG TIME! and wheak for it. But veg time is after cuddle and lap time in the evening in the summer and after lap time and cuddle time before it gets dark in the winter (mine are outside piggies as no room for them inside) They are VERY well wrapped for the winter!

You mean you have something that squeaks louder than guinea pigs! Wow your fridge door must be VERY loud.
