Morrisons?

Anyone know which guinea pig food is stocked by Morrisons supermarket?

My husband is in the UK office this week and it is next door to Morrisons so he said he'd pop in there for me and get some food but I'd like to tell him which food to get if possible, also do they sell the hay bedding as I know Tesco do but do Morrisons?

I think it is usually Wagg guinea pig crunch but as I usualy buy the tesco purple bag one I wouldn't quote me on that lol

They do do hay in small blocks though I have never purchased hay from there as we have a supply from a work mate who has a farm and once our boys had had that they dont like pet shop or supermarket hay

hey,i work there. it's wagg, the museli type one. mojules is right, they stock small cubes of hay too, and woodshavings. you'd do better going to wilkinsons chick :)p:)p:)p

Thanks, is Wagg a good food?

Hay for eating or bedding?

I will go to Wilkinsons when I come over in April but as he is working next to Morrisons he can only go there!

wagg's an ok brand, but it's not the nugget sort. muslei food isn't recommended for piggies really. i use the hay for eating and bedding!

So you don't recommend Wagg at all or will it suffice until I can get over in April and visit P@H? They are on a German piggy food at the moment Witte Motten.

Is there any other food Morrisons do?

My boys used to eat Wagg but discovered they like the tesco purple bag better they also get nuggets too as don't want them being fussy piggies though I think that may be too late :))

i use hay for bedding as well as for them munching on which they do more of than actually bed in lol
 
Could you order nuggets off the internet instead? I use Oxbow Cavy Cuisine (available from SPH supplies) and highly recommend it, but I know others use Science Selective or Burgess Excel and think highly of them.

Morrisons sometimes do wagg nuggets too! I don't know whether all shops do but mine does. My pigs have wagg museli but they get nuggets of other makes as well in a separate bowl (so they get the best of both worlds)!
 
My pigs eat Wagg G.P. Crunch the muesli type. Muesli type foods are fine to feed but some piggies will selectively feed :)
