moulting guineas?

Iv noticest that all my boys are moulting alot. None have balding patches all happy & healthy so not worried that anythings wrong. Iv tried giving them a brush but its not working well. Anyone got any ideas? or do i just have to face guineas pigs moult like crazy lol.

All my girls are currently moulting pretty badly! I think they are sorting out getting their summer coats through now! I find that my Abbys moult the most, almost constantly all year round, whereas my smooth short haired will moult in spring and autumn and be fairly shed-free the rest of the year.

Yeah my 2 abby boys are terrible lol. 3 short haired boys aren't too bad and my long haired boy has his days depends what he's been up to lol.

The early summer weather is certainly having an effect... My washing machine filter is copping out after every cage clean!

My boys are going through this too. They're just shedding their warmer winter coats. Most animals with fur do this around this time of year really.
