Moulting or skin problem?

Hi - my little Trixie is losing a lot of hairs all of a sudden and lots of skin bits like dandruff too, she looks a right mess because she is mostly black! I've given her a brush and a thorough skin check, and I can't see any sore patches or bald patches, although she doesn't like me rumaging about in her hair, so maybe it is a bit sore. She isn't itching at all either. Could this just be a routine "moult" if guineas do this? I think the same thing happened last year about this time, and I got worried, was about to take her to the vet, and then it suddenly cleared up? Is this just the same as us humans get occasionally, ie a lot of hair loss in the shower and a bit of a skin peel?

I would probably give her a warm bath , dry her thoroughly and if she is happy enough I would just keep an eye on her.
