I have a two year old boar and on Saturday we brought a tiny little baby boar home as a companion for him.

So far they have gone mad for each other through the bars of their separate cages. It looking like they'll be pals!

I'm desperate to move the baby in with the big pig but noticed big pig was itching and so he's got ivermectin.

My question is, how long will the ivermectin take to kick in before it's safe to move little baby in?

Thanks all x

As your two piggies are in contact with each other, you have to treat both anyway - as always if you get a new guinea pig from a place that has no automatic quarantine and you are not conducting one yourself.
Importance Of Quarantine

Please do not use a low-dosed broad spectrum product on spec that is going to do more harm than good and please always seek a vet diagnosis and the weight appropriate good quality product.

Under those premises you can introduce them. Please make sure that you read our guide before you introduce. It has a section on boar bonding and also tips for bonding a baby boar with an older boar.
