My baby has lived inside since I brought them in the day they were born.
I clean him out and the day after he stinks again.

Now I'm not one to normally complain about the smell of my piggies but even I have noticed it's getting a little unpleasant.

I have a spare cage inside the shed, Do you think it would be ok to just move him outside?

I'm waiting for the nights to get a little warmer before my boys stay out all night.
Does your little man have a blocked or dirty grease gland? This tends to make them more smelly. ?

I hadn't thought about that to be honest. I did give that area an extra scrub when he was bathed a couple of weeks ago.

Actually it isn't him its his poops that really smell. I cleaned him out Saturday PM and yesterday lunch time the smell from the cage was so unpleasant I had to do him again.
He laid on the sofa with me for an hour so i don't think it's him.

He should be fine, you could wait another couple of weeks until it is a little warmer, but I think now would be ideal. Try and find out where the smell is coming from. If it's his poops then it is probably something you are feeding him. O0

I would wait until the warmer weather like Cavy crazy its not such a shock to the system then. I kmow what you mean about the smell Digby stinks I will be glad when he is in with the girls outside!

I think I will check out the long range forcast and then get them all prepared.
I think he will be happier outside at least he will be able to hear the others..

I think a lot of us are now moving our piggies outside. Mine have made the move from the house to the shed a while back now. Time for thier piggie mansion now outside :) its nearly June

Well he has gone outside bless him.

I've moved Bunny into his summer mansion in the garden and all 3 piggies are in the shed.
he actually seems so happy there's loads of wheeking and he is jumping up and down on his hidey house like an Olympic hurdler.
