Whats the easiest way to move house with 11 pigs?
Do you move them first and get them straight in, or move them last?
We are moving in a couple of weeks and i'm trying to plan out how to do it.
The night before I am going to empty the bag of woodshavings into a loose bag so I can get the pigs cages made up quickly when I get there (I usually spend hours clawing the bag to get shavings outrolleyes) Then clean the cages before they are put on the van. Then put the pigs in their carriers in the car, so the ride isn't as bumpy.
Would it help ease the stress if I put veg and extra hay to hide in, in the carriers?
Do you think that would all work?
I don't want to clean the cages the night before and when we get to the house, half the cages are turned upside down from the bumpy drive and will have to sort it out all over again.
Have to get them in the new house quickly cos i'm gonna be needed to help get everything in.
