I've finally made the descision to get Hector neutered and we're off to the vets this evening for his pre op check then all being well he'll be in tomorrow morning at 8.25am! I don't hang around once I've decided.
Surprisingly I'm feeling more excited than worried at the moment but that could all change tomorrow.
Please keep your fingers crossed for him tomorrow. :)

aww best of luck and I hope it all goes smoothly for him, I'll be going through this with Peter soon and am scared to death of doing it to him

Had my boars neutered last week, I was a total wreck :x
They just needed a lot more pampering after :(|) but after 2 days, were batting around mad as ever :...
Have only just put the access to the second level back in today for them and they don't seem interested, think they have enjoyed being closer to each other :{

Just come back from his pre op check up and she's very happy with him. Said he's in fine form and is not going to waste away any time soon! lol
And he did wiggle his bottom at her! :))

I will keep my fingers crossed as well I have to get Milo done soon and I am so not looking forward to it.
 
Well I dropped Hector off this morning, thankfully the traffic was ok and we sailed along the M4 and got there early.
I've sent him with his packed lunch, a little tupperwear pot of dried food and a pot of veggies, everything I could think of to tempt him.
The nurse said his lunch looked nicer than hers! lol She also said she'll pop out and pick some dandylion leaves for him in her lunch break. How lovely!
So I've wandered round the shops as much as I can (and bought some lovely new cushions for the sofa and a new fleece for Hector) been to the farm to get a bale of hay (and see the lovely farmer ;-) ) and I'm now home and having a coffee before I clean out Hector's house and put nice fresh bedding in ready for him to come home to.
I've got to ring at 2pm to see what time I can pick him up. Fingers crossed!
 
Aww hope his recovery goes well and he's not too cross with you. Sending healing cuddles to Hector.
