MR SOFTY - gone to join his son today :(

Sadly today you passed away to Rainbow Bridge to
join the many piggy souls residing there. You have
been here almost two years but everyday has been a joy,
watching you thrive and find happiness. You came here
from the most dreadful conditions that I have ever
had the misfortune to witness. Neglect and cruelty
on an unimagineable scale. Your previous owner was
finally banned for life from keeping any animal so
at least we know that you were the last one out from
that hell hole. You were so thin, so poorly, so
utterly sad but you began to smile and relax and
enjoyed the care and attention that you received
here. I loved your chunky cheeks and you innocent
looking eyes. I know you loved your food and of
course your pal Marley. You were an absolute joy
to look after and gave me great pleasure watching
you tuck into grass and sunbathe a little too.
You brought me much happiness Mr Softy - you will
be sorely missed little man. Thank you for sharing
your life with me.

Run free my sweetheart - know that you are
always loved and cared for.

Mr Softy sounds like he's had a lovely few years with you. Run free over the bridge with Umbrella little man x
 
I am so sorry that Mr. Softy wasn't allowed to stay any longer and followed his son so soon! At least, both have got to know happiness and love in their lives, thanks to your (and Goldie's) dedicated care!

I remember well how shocked I was when I saw the pics of the freshly rescued boys!

Oh Louise - I know Mr Softy was poorly and I am so sad to read that he has passed away.

I know how special he was to you - coming from those terrible conditions back in Spring 2009. You did a fantastic job rescuing him (and Umbrella and the others) giving him the tlc he deserved and a lovely life.

Umbrella will have been waiting for Mr Softy as he passed over the bridge. They started life together and when the time came they were reunited very shortly after Umbrella left me.

Cuddle together little guys and run free forever xx
