Our beautiful, quirky and brilliant Stark decided it was time for him to leave us for the rainbow bridge.

This was very unexpected, and very sudden. He was such a lively, happy boy, with no signs of ill health. Last night he just decided to go to sleep for the final time.

As with all of our RB piggies, Stark very much deserves a lovely tribute. He had such a huge character, more than any pig we have owned. When we rehomed him, he came with a huge attitude problem, chewed ears and scars… all a reflection of the little scrapper that he was! He really lived up to his name!

Full brother to Odin, Stark spent some lovely years living with his brother, and then re-bonding and living with one of our older piggies (Thor).

Always the first to chew the bars, rumble strut at his neighbours, or chatter at me when it was time to be caught for weighing/health checks…. Stark had a huge personality right till the end.

Though heart broken, we are so pleased that Stark appeared happy and lively till the end, and then left us peacefully. We know that he’s reunited with his brother Odin, and with Loki and Rocket.

We have lots of gorgeous photos and popcorn videos to remember him by. He had a huge impact on our lives and will leave behind big spaces in our hearts.

Our handsome, spirited boy will be dearly missed 💙


We love you Stark. Enjoy the bridge gorgeous boy. Have fun with the others.

Oh what a gorgeous and characterful piggy - I'm so very sorry to hear this. I'm glad he lived his best life to the very end, that's all any pig could hope for, but what a terrible shock for you all. Sounds like he was very special indeed. Beautiful pictures and tribute.
 
So sorry to hear you have suddenly lost Mr Stark, it sounds like he had a peaceful end to his lovely life he has had with you ❤️🌈

Oh Nichola it's never easy when they leave us. Mr Stark had a wonderful life with you and he chose when he wanted to be with his brother and his friends. Passing over to The Rainbow Bridge surrounded by love really is the best way. I know he will leave a huge hole in your heart. Look after yourself as you grieve. I’m so sorry to hear Mr Stark has popcorned over the bridge. He’ll be causing havoc with his old friends. He had a wonderful life with you and a peaceful end. Take care ❤️
 
I did not expect this news today Nichola. I am so sorry that you lost Stark so unexpectedly.
It’s a lovely tribute to a special piggy who had a wonderful life with you.

What a shock for you to lose such a beautiful boy so suddenly. But it sounds as though his passing was gentle and peaceful, and he passed at home with his loved ones around him. Big hugs to you. Sleep tight, handsome Stark.
 
I’m so sorry you have lost Mr Stark, he sounded a real character. Take heart his last sleep was peaceful and that he had a wonderful life with Odin and Thor :hug:

Thank you all so much for your kind words. Really means a lot. Our boys are very loved (as are all of our animals), and it’s always very difficult when their time comes to leave. But he’s definitely having fun now, reunited with his brother and his friends 🌈💖
 
Sorry to read about your sad loss. He had a wonderful life with you and left in the way we would all wish to leave. There will be a massive piggy shaped hole in your heart but will leave you with happy memories. Run free with your friends now Mr. Stark 🌈
