God we miss Florence. Xx

Morning Dave. I’m so sorry about Florence. Such a shock for you both. I lost little Pippin in November. I only had him 3 months and the vet couldn’t find what was wrong with him. His friend Percy seemed to cope really well. I got Pepper three days later so Percy would have company. They get on great (so far!). Take care. ❤️

Lots of extra cuddles for mrs Dougal. You will both need some time to adjust to your loss. Glad she is eating her food still. You did all you could do for Florence she will be at rainbow Bridge now running in a grassy meadow, thats where i like to think mine who've passed are.

Was dam hard this morning. . I struggled but I've got to be strong for Mrs Dougal and other two. . I know we borrow piggies to love but i expected longer . . Florence was a very nosey vocal lady. . X

Yes me and my piggy’s are sending you love and wheeks. It does get easier with time, but never feels that way when you are stuck right in the middle of it. Be kind to yourself. Xx

I think that is a good idea David xx
Love and hugs from us and the piggies. xx

Aw bless her. It’s good that she is eating. I’m so sorry that you lost Florence :( Lots of extra cuddles for Mrs Dougal and you’ll get through it together x
How long guys should I leave before I totally change all 3 little life's. .
Course I'm bag of nerves and feel guilty as not 24 hours since our love died.

Don’t feel guilty Dave. Florence wouldn’t want Mrs Dougal to be lonely. Personally the sooner you move them together, the better x

Dave you have absolutely nothing to feel guilty for. I think it's a brilliant idea to put Mrs Dougal next to your other two. When you change things round it's a good idea to leave some old bits from their present set ups so the cage still smells like theirs, it's all going to be strange for them to start with but they should soon settle. Thinking of you all and sending my best wishes.

You have nothing to feel guilty about, it will be good for Mrs Dougal to know she is not the only pig left in the world. (By the way that first picture is the most beautiful picture of Mrs Dougal I have seen 🙂)

Definitely agree too, please don’t feel guilty.
When my Jess was left alone after Rupert passed away Luigi moved in within a few weeks, she was so much happier with another piggy around as she missed him loads. Massive hugs to you and Mrs Dougal x

That’s an excellent plan David. I’m so glad you’ve got Mavis and Moo. They will help get you and Florence through this. I’m certain that my two pairs of boars are keeping Ronnie motivated while he awaits a new companion. Lenny the little incessantly bar bites when meal times are due and this seems to prompt Ronnie to come up to the bars for food. Scottie and Ronnie has an exceptional strong bond. For a few days after Scottie died I left a rolled up pair of fleece socks in the cage for him to snuggle up to. Obviously we are here to support you and wish you every success in bonding your ladies

When Dennis went to the Rainbow Bridge and then Christian, I was going to wait a week after Christian had left us before attempting to bond Betsy with Meg and Patsy but I waited 2 days. Betsy was becoming increasingly unhappy without Dennis and Meg was showing signs of dominance over Patsy without Christian there. Betsy is a very dominant piggy and I didn't want Meg to get ideas above her station. I felt bad bonding them so soon after the deaths of my boys but knew it was the right thing to do. Don't feel bad, you need to do what is right in your situation and right now that is making sure Mrs Dougal has company albeit through the bars so she won't be lonely.

Guilt is bugging me . .
Florence would be so proud of you for making good choices for Mrs Dougal and yourself Dave.
You gave her a life filled with wonderful care and love and she would not want you to feel guilty for a single minute as you plan what needs to be done to keep making your beautiful girls (and yourself) get through this tough time.

I can fully relate to the guilt you are feeling, but honestly your girl wouldn’t want Mrs.Dougal to be lonely. I think you are 100% doing the right thing getting them moved in as soon as possible (for her sake).
the boys and I are sending lots of love 💕
