Shock this morning.
Mrs Dougal always scatty and active. .
She is very lethargic and not herself at all.
She's never been like this . . She's eaten a little and seems very tired. . Easy to pick up etc. .
We going to vets at 12.20.
Pls send her good vibes and tlc.
 
I'm sat here with tears. . I as you all so hate when our piggies are poorly.

Hope Mrs Dougal is ok Dave, sending hugs and healing wheeks- stay strong for her, we're all here for you, paws crossed for the vet trip x

Fingers firmly crossed for her! What a nasty shock for you - these things have a bad tendency to happen late at night or on a weekend or bank holiday... :(

She was great last night . . Her normal self.
Worried about her not fully using her back end etc. Early days and hope I'm over reacting . Xx
 
All the best Mrs Douglas. I hope it’s nothing major.
 
Back home. . Vet gave Mrs Dougal a good check.. thinks she uncomfortable when he feels her back end etc.
She let him touch her back legs which is not her at all. She was good and even munched a bit . . Weight is 1155 . He gave her a anti inflammatory injection .
She's still in basket fast asleep so leaving he so. She can join Florence when she wants.
Going back Monday to see Sheryl who is Exotic lady and loves piggies.
I hope it's a wasted journey. . X
 
What an awful morning for you....I know everyone on here will be thinking of lovely Mrs Dougal. I know you and Florence will take good care of her. Love and best wishes to you and your little family. 💜

Oh David you have been on such a roller coaster ride with your piggies over the last few months and my heart goes out to you. You are such a caring , vigilant piggie daddy . Hopefully Mrs Dougal will be fine. At the very least if she’s not well you have caught it very early and she can be treated and credit to you for that . I’ve rushed my piggies to the vets prematurely on occasions but I know you’ll agree that it’s the best thing to do. Hopefully on Monday evening you can sit down with a cuppa and relax . I’m sure Florence will be a good nurse . Situations like this bring home how important it is for piggies to have companionship . You have every reason to be hopeful x

My Piggies are my world and during this horrible time . . They are more so.
I do as you also care . . Least we do for what they give us.

Bless you and your piggie family David. I’m on my own too and it does amplify how much piggies mean when we are on our own especially now ( no discredit to other forum members who evidently adore their piggies) Now come on Mrs Dougal eat your lettuce and hay and have a good poop and wee please. I know it’s difficult David but it’s more likely to be ok than not ❤️

Why I put on this morning. . Can't ask anyone else who have piggies . .
Florence is helping lol.. .

I really hope whatever it is you’ve caught it quickly. I think some don’t understand what they mean to us owners. They’re on the same scale as dogs and cats, but can be seen as disposable. Such a pity as they’re so entertaining, intelligent and interesting.
