have 3 females guineas in a 4ft x 2ft two story hutch with an attached run which is 4ft x 3ft ,it is all kept in the garage (my car was evicted).
how often should i muck out 98)

we do ours at least once a week, usually more often as the boys get pongy. If you have 3 in the same hutch you will prob need to clean them out every few days.
Do you let them outside in the garden?

no they need to be kept indoors as local council sprays pavements for weeds and just about every neighbour has a cat which just happens to love my back garden, my garage is partioned and the part were the guineas are was my hobby room ,it has a big window and pipes from the house central heating run through it keeping it warm in winter

Hiya,

I have a 6ft by 2ft hutch and I muck out twice a week, but sometimes just once a week, it all depends on the smell and the weather!

:)

I have 3 living together and they are cleaned out every other day. Any longer than that and there is a definite smell!

Depends on how much lawn time mine have had - if they're out all day it kind of saves the hutch from a days pee & poo....

I do mine twice a week if not more and i've only got 2 girls lol! They have a bad habbit of pooing then weeing on top of it so it dries in >:( not very fun! and its always on the side where there's no vetbed! grr lol! x

Mine are done every 3 days! ;D regardless. I have a rota system. ! otherwise it gets mucky! mine must pee and poo a lot. ;D ;D ;D

Rabbits litter tray is done everyday, and chinnies not so bad they are done about every 5 days for a full clean out, but shelves brushed every day. !

(no wonder I havent got much of a social life 98) ;D :D)

I have no social life. I do my pigs everyday. They just pee so much. All my buns have a sweep out and a litter tray change daily too. I'm a bit obsessed.

I too have no life.... ;D Every morning the cage gets hooked out. I can't leave it mucky even if it isn't!

I tend to do mine every 4/5 days when piggies don't get out on the grass but otherwise at least once a week, needed or not! :)

I do it every 4 days or so but it really depends on how many pigs you have and how often and where they go...

i do my girls every 1-2 weeks, their run is quite big so takes a while to do, but I spot clean and take out and dirty bedding etc..

my boys i clean every 2/3 days depending on how much they smell..they have a nero cage in my room, on towels and polyester so i sweep off the poop everyday and i wash all the towels every 2/3 days :)

Mine live in the shed, we've got 3 girls sharing. I do their bed every few days as they seem to enjoy pooing in there most. The run part of their hutch doesn't get very bad so I do that about once a week. We put in fresh hay in their bed every day though. Ours spend more time in the garden than in the hutch at this time of the year though, so it saves a lot of cleaning!

When they can't go out their bed needs doing every day or other day as my piggies are pellet-machines. I don't have a definite pattern, when it needs cleaning it gets done! (I have noticed that the minute I clean them out they poo all over it straight away!) >:(

A full clean out i do mine every 6th/7th day. rabbit gets done every other week. quick Clean around every day mine are in the garage too.

I clean mine once aweek but if it starts to msell before that then i clean it early.

Complete clean every night (3 cages) and top layer of paper every morning....
