Mucus around eye

My Guinean pig has a white slimy mucus around her eye. I’m not sure if she’s sick or not. It’s in ONE eye, the other is clear. There’s not crust or anything. Just let me know if it’s anything bad.

Please keep an eye on the eye and see a vet very promptly; it may be a washed out ulceration from a hay poke, scratch or something stuck under the lid. If in doubt, please always see a vet over an eye issue.

I’ll check today after school to see if it has gotten better. It not I’ll take her to the vet
