Hi everyone,

My guinea pig is 5 and has a cornea injury which is being treated by antibiotics and eye drops. Her eye looks better and less blue and cloudy than it was but when I take out the syringe after it all goes in there is this green mucus looking stuff that comes out on the end I’m not sure what it is and doesn’t smell! She is still eating,’running around and rrrinking but I’m a bit concerned about it! Could someone please reply ASAP! 😊

Hi! Are you sure that it is not some gunk in the mouth like guinea pigs often have from some green stuff your piggy has eaten earlier?

If in doubt, please see a vet during regular opening hours as all we have is your rather vague description and that is not a lot to go on, I am sorry to say.
