Some of you will remember that my Joe keeps getting repeated chest infections. The vet decided to put him on a month long dose of Septrin well he is being so good taking all his medicines twice daily that i thought i would video him to show you how good he is.

He even licks the medicine off the side of the syringe. His little tongue is so cute.x)

Oh bless him, I've got some syringe addicted pigs here, once they get used to it they crave it don't they! What a good boy he's being - hope he's soon on the mend

Awww Lindsay he is lovely such a chunky little lad! Get well soon Joe! x

Thanks everyone we have got while December 1st to go with the Septrin, then we are booked in for the vet to see him again on the 2nd.

After about a week of the Septrin his chest stopped rattling then after another week it started again even though he is still on his meds! now its stopped again.

Hoping this long dose of Medication finally stops it coming back. He is so good even though he sometimes sounds terrible he never seems poorly and eats and bombs round the kitchen for england he has so much energy.

Poor Jimmy looks at me as if to say you meaney why cant i have some of that banana medicine that Joe gets.x)

Aww well done Joe! you can do it! :))
At the end of the vid he looks like he's say "Oh, where's it gone?"

Oh bless him, what a little sweetheart! My Poppet is like that with her syringe food.

If the septrin doesn't clear it up, then ask for Zithromax. I'm sure that will do the trick.

Cheers Debbie, i have Zithromax written down to enquire about if the septrin does not work as i saw you mention it was good before.x)

awwwwwwwwwww Linds that's lovely thankyou for sending to me xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>
little man you keep eating up for mummy and Auntie Glynis we loves you so so so so so so so so much xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>
Well done love you're doing so well with him xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

cute, he loves his medicine! I wonder if septrin tastes nicer than baytril!

Yeah its the same taste as the Amoxillin (sp) i had when i was a kid. On the Septrin bottle it says Paediatric Susp so i have had a taste and it is alot better than Baytril as thats really bitter.

so you mean it's just human medicine?

Yes Septrin is a human antibiotic, so is Zithromax. Baytril is the one licenced for use in animals but some of the human antibiotics are much better at treating various problems, and many vets use these other ones instead, with far better results.

bless him, what a cutie! his mate jimmy is a cutie too. what good boys xxxxxxxxxx
