munchie is being kept in at the vets overnight for more tests and to get some fluids into him :'(

I'm so worried i hope he gets better soon :'(

hes had a urinary problem for a few days now. went to the vets yest, but ended up going back this morning has he has taken a turn for the worse and wont eat and wont move, just stays laid out in the corner of the cage :(

vets calling me later to let me know whats happening :'(

I was hoping he would feel better by now Lez, so sorry to hear he has taken a turn for the wost. But he is in the best possible place, I feel its best a vet cares for them when they are like this as it takes the stress of the owner. It's such hard work mentally and physically looking after an ill animal.

Oh that's worrying and poor Munchie, he must be fighting against his illness
at the moment. But I really really hope he'll be ok and can come home soon.

just got an update from the vet

they have done another scan and cant see any stones in his bladder so that is definately ruled out.

he has eaten a little bit on his own, but not much, so they are syringe feeding him at intervals, and getting plenty of fluids into him

they will phone me tomorrow morning to tell me if he is ok to be brought home or not. hopefully he will pick up and be able to come home

munchie has gone. he took a turn for the worse 2 hours ago and passed away in my arms at the vets

I'm so gutted, him and bob were my firs ever piggies. ive had him sice he was 3 months old. i miss him already
 
Oh no! So so sorry to hear this, you poor thing. At least you were with him at the end and you did all you could for the little fella.

I am so sorry Lez he was a beautiful little piggy, at least you have hundreds of photos to remember him by, and you got to say goodbye to him properly
