I'm sure most of you remember Muppet, the little doe who had been badly neglected and had surgery on arrival here to remove her front teeth - and then there was Roger who arrived a few weeks later with similar problems. Roger got a 'double wammy' bless him, as when he had his teeth removed he was neutered at the same time with the intention of pairing him with Muppet.

This is definitely a 'happy ever after' story :)

Roger and Muppet are now best friends and have become very close in a relatively short space of time - I only introduced them to each other on Thursday but already they are inseperablex)

They've spent today in the garden enjoying the sunshine :-

And here is Muppet showing you all her kangaroo impression

And after a hard day playing together outside what better way to relax than snuggled up to your best friend ever................

Have to admit I shed a few tears watching them together - they really were meant for each other in every way..........

aaahhhhh Teresa they are just gorgeous and look lovely together xoxoxoxoxoxo

They are gorgeous! So pretty. My bunnies also do Kangaroo impressions, Mayzie swivels her ears when she does it, like she's trying to pick up a signal!

:)):)) - yep, hats are a must - I have a slight issue though - am I 'mother of the bride' or mother of the groom' ................................:{:(|)

What a lovely ending I'm so glad it all worked out! How was the bonding? I have heard Rabbit bonding isn't the easiest of tasks! :x

I have been SO looking forward to these pictures - truly a wonderful story. They are both such lovely looking bunnies, and it's so nice they've bonded as they have. I certainly know what you mean about bringing a tear (or 3) to the eye - it's the "happy ever after" ending you hope for, but until it happens, you can't be certain.

You've done wonderfully well with them .....

Awwww, just so gorgeous, see they were just meant for each other. And they really are beautiful rabbits. What a match made in heaven.

Oh bless them they look so happy together a real happy ever after story. Warms the cockles! ^)

Your match looks really like it has been made in tooth fairy Heaven! What a loved-up couple they are; and with their markings they really look like a pair!

I am so glad for you that your special customers have found their kind of paradise! If only all rescue stories could end like this - it is truly a fairy tale!

Ohhh they are so beautiful and look like they would be wonderful to cuddle with!
And they really do look so happy together, how awesome :)

Oh Teresa, what a truly happy ending! I was keeping my fingers crossed that they'd be able to live together but it's marvellous they are so 'in love'! xoxo They both deserve it and it just goes to show what a good quality of life these animals can have if they are given the chance. Many people wouldn't have given either of these the chance that you did, you're an angel :)

I also think it's really cute that they look like each other!

Thankyou everyone for your very kind comments:)

Have to say I think I'm the lucky one here - both these bunnies are a delight, so nosey and friendly. They are almost identical in colouring and a few times I've got them mixed up. Muppet likes to be held the right way up but Roger likes to lay on his back in my arms like a baby rolleyes

Just in case anyones wondering what happened to Roger's toy cow Ermentrude, she's now being shared by both bunnies...................:)) Roger was very happy to share with his new wife x)

What a fantastic love story. I remember seeing Roger a few weeks ago when I visited you and your piggies, he looked sad after his op, snuggled in with Ermentrude. But how fantastic he has now found his soulmate, Muppet.
They look so happy together. It's true love. x)
