mushrooms

Is it safe to give my piggies mushrooms? I'm trying to give them lots of varied veggies, and wondered whether they're safe.

Also, are oranges ok?

They can't eat mushrooms but oranges can be fed in small amounts as too many can give sores to the mouth. Same with tomatoes.

Thanks very much for that. I just don't want them to get bored of eating the same veg all the time.

hi as far as i know mushrooms are poisonus to piggieshave you tried red peppers most of my piggies eat them in small quantities chopped up and washed seeds removed

I haven't given them those yet, but will try them, thanks for the suggestion! Their current favourite is grass (only had them 5 days!), followed by brocolli and carrots.

Just want a nice big choice of things I can give them, I certainly wouldn't like to be fed on the same things all the time.
