Does anyone have a piggie that enjoys music? Malcolm can sit for ages ringing the bells hanging from the top of the cage, which can be quite melodic. We recently got them this little piano, but it's Griff that seems most enjoy tickling the ivories. Malcolm sometime sits on top, Frankie & Johnnie stylee! :)

But, put the camera on it and nothing. Typical! This was the best I could get - a very short tune.

Ah thanks. I think Griff might have carried on, had Malcolm not decided to do the "rock star" thing and stomp over the piano! :))

Awww such a lovely musical group does their band have a name? teehee ill have to try this with my pigs! :)

What a talented little star~ x)

Can I hire him for my Christmas Party? :))

Maybe they should try out for "Pet Idol!" :))

Malcolm in particular seems to be what I would call a "more clever than normal" piggie. My late Warren was like that (he was a Peter Gurney Pig) as well. So, I keep trying to think of things to challenge him and keep him from being bored.

This one is really dark, but here's Malcolm the "campanologist" and his bells.

Malcolm especially loves this "educational" toy. He's probably doing complex calculations on the abacus when I'm not watching!

Haha the piano made me laugh! :))

You do have some clever pigs, i dont think mine would do anything if i put those toys in their cage.

I love their 'bench' in the cage and can just picture them sitting back with their feet up when no one is looking :))

Thanks for the fab comments. I'll pass them on to the boys!

I think I got the park bench from Zooplus before Christmas. Mostly, Malcolm stands on it to get to the bells.

My previous two piggies liked having a sofa and for a while, I had a supply of dog beds that looked like fold out sofas, which they loved. But, they got frayed and manky after awhile and I can't seem to find new ones anymore. Here's a couple snaps of Gethin and Celyn (RIP) enjoying their sofa. All that's missing is the cans of beer and plasma screen tv! :))

my guineapig pip likes to chatter at the radio >.<

Wow, thanks for that link. They do some lovely things there.

I sometimes leave the radio on for the piggies, but I haven't heard them singing along yet! :-)

Hi Helen. "Pig dad" picked up both the piano on special half price for £5 at Asda. We'd thought about the abacus toys at IKEA, but they seemed too big, but found the smaller one at Asda for £3 or £4 I think. I figured if they were made for babies, the paint would at least be safe. They've also got soft blocks and cars as well as the bird toys. It's a shame there aren't more pig specific toys out there, but there are plenty of baby and toddler things you can improvise with.

Not YET arranging piano lessons for wee rodent prodigies, but you never know . . . 8)

awesome videos! :)) also love the second pic, you should photoshop a tv into it cos they look like they're staring at something! :))
