My 6 year old Smiggy the piggy is about to die

I feel bereft. She was our liveliest most loving one of 4 and she will be the first to go 😢

She has been amazing through the last 6 months. She has had recurring UTIs and we have done our best for her. She has been so happy and eating right up until yesterday. Purring and chatting to us.
 
RIP our lovely little piggy. She passed peacefully 😭😭😭
 
Thanks. I cannot believe how bereft I am 😭😭 I lost my dad a few weeks ago... so we gave her kisses to take to him 💔
 
I am so sorry for your losses. Please be gentle with yourself as you've clearly had a tough time.

Thank you x all our piggies are very over loved and have had a great life. They have to be the cutest pets ever 🥰

6 is a good age for a piggy - a tribute to your care.
Look after yourselves - remember you’re still grieving for your dad as well

Thank you x kind words. Her sister is still go strong and the other two are three years old. They were all super quiet today and sat with her 💜 🌈

I find when there is a loss in my piggy room the piggies are all subdued for a time. But they usually eat their veggies again if you tempt them with some treats like herbs.

I will take something nice for them and give them extra love tonight. They’re certainly feeling it. They all sat close to her as she lay dying and they’ve done very little since she passed. It’s so moving 💜
