My Abby...and her soon to be cagemate

Abby'sMom

I have Abby who is 2 months old, she is a Abyssinian....i am getting her a cagemate...another female that i am getting from a rescue...her name is Molly and she is 3 months old. I'm assuming she is a smooth coated breed, not sure which one. :)
They seem to get along fine....we visited Molly at her home where she is being fostered. Abby seems to be the dominant one....which surprised me since she is so much smaller! :))
If all goes well...Molly comes home on Friday!x)

I know, i searched last night and all day today....called several different foster mothers and went to see 3 after work. Molly seems to be very vocal...which i love! She's such a pretty color and seems to not be too big compared to Abby. The woman had 4 others that she is fostering...2 boys/3 girls...but Molly just seemed to match my Abby's temperment best. Abby was jumping around like a spastic crazy pig...I've not seen her so happy before... We are visiting again tomorrow...i cant wait!

Congratulations you've done so much work looking for a little mate for Abby i do hope she and Molly have many many years together x)x)
 
new sounds

It was so cute hearing them 'chat' with one another! I wish I had recorded it, but it is burned into my memory forever. My boyfriend looked at me with a stern but loving look and said "Ok, now you know you have to stop at 2, right?" lol:))

awwwwwwwww isn't their chatting so cute? i love the way they chatter and burrrrrrrrr at each other x)x)x)
 
Awww - they are lovely; and I've heard those famous last words as well...
 
Molly comes home tonight!

Abby visited Molly again last night. And seems to have picked her new BFF! I'm so excited to be bringing her home :<>:<>:<>
The foster is letting me bring a medium cage home with me just in case they need more time...but i'm sure it'll all be ok. I cant wait to have both of them at home to cuddle!x)x)x)
Just had to share the wonderful news....It's official. I am now the mom of Abby & Molly!x)

They are a lovely pair, both so pretty. Their names are lovely too, they go so well together.
