My Abby has had a hair cut!!

I've recently bonded Peppa, my Abby, with a white sow (Candy) (with pink eyes) and they have been getting on okay when I go in the morning to feed them they are usually side by side in the little house, whereas originally they were on different floors.

Peppa has beautiful long hair but its short this morning?! It's not falling out just shorter - I can only put this down to Candy.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It's called 'barbering' - if you do a search for this it will bring up lots of threads, basically pigs do it to themselves or each other for some reason! rolleyes
2 of my boys take it in turns to barber each other, very short and cropped, like someone has taken a pair of scissors to them!

I have heard of "barbering" but mine don't do It to each other I have to put my hair up when Rambo is on my lap though
 
Well I never . . I'm gobsmacked and he had such beautiful hair. Maybe she was jealous as he had long hair.

Have checked out barbering, now I know what I'll be doing all evening :))

I've been reading up on this and a few websites say that the one that's getting barbered is lower in the pecking order, I'm really surprised as I have had Peppa longer, he's a big Abby and much older than Candy.

How can I tell who's the boss? Or can they be equal and barber?
 
Well, my Ruby tries to barber all my other piggies, she only is successful in barbering Bethany all over and Maggie-May's chin rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
