My "alternative" cage

Finished making my cage yesterday, just in time for Marvin arriving.
When i bought Chocco wasn't very Guinea pig savvy so just got the cage the shop reccomended. Didnt want to waste it so have made a few additions. Also I couldnt get hold of cubes so ive used Wilkinsons wire cooling racks! Tell me what you think :P
I made the table out of floor boards and old bed posts which is why it isnt that attractive will cover it with a cloth or somthing at some point rolleyes

Oh wow, it's great. I'd say the piggies will love it. How much did it cost to make ? Well, I just wish I had the room to ake a similar cage. Well Done !

Very innovative use of cooling racks! :)) Looks lovely! And nice lot of space. Just watch their little legs in the wire bit of the ramp though, easy to catch a leg in it by mistake. Perhaps this bit could come off completely?

I'd already took the door off, just left it there incase needed to seperate chocco and marvin on their first night :P
The racks cost 98p each and got the correx off a friend for free who had some spare "for sale" signs lying around so cost inder £7.00 in total.
Made the table out of some flooring and spare bead posts, so again free :D I'm a student so have no money and need to improvise hehe

I'm in love george would love this house but boyfriend would flip if I did that! I am slowly trying to convince him to let me get 2 nero fours and have one on a stand & one underneath to save space & get some rescue piggies but will be a while before I can convince him I think!

oh wow, i love it. Marvin is gonna love it i am sure. I love the bridge so that he can come out of his cage whenever he wants.
 
Well done, I guess the piggies are loving it. Good use of the cooling racks..... I wondered what they were used for :))

It's amazing what people come up with when they haven't got much cash.

well done you! and a bargain at under a tenner! i spent a bloody fortune on my cage! Wish i was more creative lol Hope the piggies enjoy it!
 
It looks gorgeous, a great 'alternative' cage. Very well done! Way cheaper than any other cage - and way bigger too!
